Spring time is almost upon us, for a pest control company this means the start of the insect season.

Ants are the first summer insect pests to make an appearance, first sightings of black / garden ants usually start in March and April. The sooner the colony is treated the easier it is to achieve a total eradication. If an ant colony is dealt with within the first few weeks of the season you are almost guaranteed not to have any problems for the rest of the season.

Dealing with an ant infestation in late June to early July can be much more difficult and therefore more costly. If you have had problems with garden ants in previous years keep an eye out for the scouts in March and April and call or text to book an ant removal treatment. I will have a range of professional use only pesticides, formulated specifically for ants in stock by the end of February.
