Terms and Conditions

This page explains the terms and conditions on which we supply pest control treatments (the service) listed on our website. please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking a pest control treatment. You should understand that by booking any of our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

You should print a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference.

1. The customer

THE CUSTOMER means the customer as specified at the top of the treatment report / invoice.

2. Price and payment

Prices may vary on a geographical basis and may be subject to change, but shall be agreed at the time of booking, subject to any adjustment in accordance with these terms due to the circumstances that we were unaware of at the time of the booking.

Subject to any contrary terms in this agreement, our services include any recall(s) that are, in our reasonable option, necessary and there will be no additional charges for any subsequent visits.

The CUSTOMER will make payments to David Etherington t/a Pestek Pest Control at the start of the pest control treatment.

3. Pestek Pest Controls Obligations

The pest control service will be carried out in a professional manner at regular intervals to be decided by the technician, following a site survey and risk assessment. The technician will use traps, pesticides, rodenticides and monitoring devices, as they deem appropriate on each visit.

The technician will report to the site contact on each visit and will leave a written report on the findings, treatments and recommendations made during the inspection.

4. THE CUSTOMER’S obligations

To minimise pest incidence by carrying out in reasonable time those recommendations made by the pest control technician.

To provide access to the pest control technician to carry out its services at the specified time.

To make prompt payment at the start of the pest control treatment.

5. Insurance – A certificate of insurance is available to the customer upon request.

6. Rodent Control Points – The customer must not disturb, move or change rodent control trap and or bait points or the contents within them. Pestek Pest Control reserves the right to charge the customer for lost or damaged bait stations or other rodent control placements. When tamper resistant control placements are required by law, the customer may be charged an additional fee.

7. Liabitlity

Pestek Pest Control does not accept any liability for loss, damage or injury to any domestic animals, livestock, birds, goods or equipment unless the loss, damage or injury was occasioned by negligence of themselves Notice of such loss, damage or injury must be notified in writing to Pestek Pest Control Control within 7 (seven) days of occurrence.

İf we believe that it would be unsafe to carry out the treatment, in accordance to the above clauses, we shall not be liable for any consequential loss, whether direct or indirect, including the costs of paying an alternative contractor.

8. Cancellation Policy

The CUSTOMER can cancel the appointment free of charge at any time prior to the appointment time.

Cancellation fee of £30 apply to the following:

No show by customer at visit date/time of technician.

Non-compliance with preparation request as discussed at the time of booking flea treatments.

Making an appointment over the phone or by email is a binding contract between the customer and Pestek Pest Control, in order to cancel you must do so by either email or over the phone. No show by customers at agreed date/time of visit the cancellation fee will apply.

9. Our right to vary these terms and conditions

We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time. You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time that you order Services from us.

Privacy Policy

We at Pestek are totally committed to protecting your privacy. We comply with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 and the SafeBuy Code of Practice.

We collect information about you in order to process your order and to tailor your visit to our website to be as relevant to you as possible. That information will only be shared with other parties that are involved in the fulfilment of your order. We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam).

The information we hold may include:

Other information regarding your pest control treatment.

This data will be held in accordance with our internal security policy. If we propose to send your data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) we will seek your consent first.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your agreement. You have a right to ask for a copy of the information which we are holding on you and we will provide upon request. We will delete information or correct any inaccuracies at no charge as soon as you make the request.

We use cookies to track your behaviour on our site to assist us in tailoring your visit. You can disable cookies in your browser but some of our website functions may then be unavailable to you.

Data will only be released to third parties (e.g. the police) on request where there is a legal requirement for us to do so.

We also use Google Analytics to track visitors to our site and Google conversion tracking for Adwords to track sales generated from our Google Adwords campaigns.
