Rat Poison Bait Kits
Our rat control kits contain everything needed to control a rat infestation. Bait tray kits are ideal for controlling rats in safe areas where there is no chance of wildlife, pests or children accessing the bait, for example in a roof space. Rat poison bait box kits contain bait boxes without a lock which are secured with a cable tie, ideal for protecting bait from non targets such as wild birds. The secure kits more suited to areas that require a greater level of security each kit is supplied with a key to securely lock the bait station.
The first thing to consider when attempting to control rats is to work out how they gained access to your home or garden (or what has attracted them) in the first place. There is always a reason, and it is usually because food is easily available.
Bird feeders and unsecured household waste all need your immediate attention before you look at investing in traps and rat poison.
For rats in the home look for and block access points around your home and consider a drainage fault for repeat infestations.
Rat poison bait and/or rat traps should be secured so that pets, birds and other wildlife can't get hold of it as rat poison will kill them as easily as it will kill rats.
After consideration of the above points place the secured baits and/or traps in areas where the rats have been noticed. Check for and remove carcasses daily and continue with the program until no further activity is apparent.
