Ant Control

The main species of Ant that cause problems in the UK is the common garden ant. Garden ants do not carry germs or spread disease but are mainly a nuisance due to their foraging habits.

Control of garden ants is a simple process, it will take less than an hour to perform the treatment.

Flea Control

Fleas are one of the most common pest species we deal with control is simple and involves 2 visits †o ensure the infestation is completely con†rolled.

Adult fleas live as parasites on warm-blooded mammals such as cats, dogs and sometimes humans. Although fleas are identified specifically as cat, dog or human fleas, these creatures are by no means found exclusively on their chosen hosts.

You should pay attention to cleaning your pets bedding and surrounding areas. as well as ensuring your prescription flea treatment are up to date. Wall to wall carpeting and central heating in a your home create ideal conditions for flea larvae to develop.

In the UK fleas are not often carriers of disease, however, dog fleas in particular, can transmit tapeworms to humans. In order for us to carry out effective flea treatment, you must help us by doing the following before we treat your property.

Lift toys, decorative items, cushions, books and other items from the floor. Remove all articles from under the beds and from under furniture. Vacuum all floors and upholstered furniture to remove animal hair, dirt and debris, as flea eggs and pupae may be present in these areas. Remove the bag after vacuuming then seal and dispose of it.

Pets need to be taken to a vet for a flea treatment over the last few years we have noted an increase in resistance to certain flea preps please speak to your vet to ensure your pets prescriptions are up to date. Do not allow pets back into the house until the treatment has completely dried usually about 4 hours.

Cockroach Control

We have developed a cockroach treatment method that is both safe and effective, Typically a cockroach treatment will only require one visit.

The female German cockroach carries an egg capsule containing around 40 eggs. She drops the capsule prior to hatching. Development from eggs to adults takes around 3 to 4 months. Cockroaches can live up to a year. In favourable conditions, they can produce 300 to 400 offspring.

Good hygiene is key to preventing cockroach infestations. By denying them a food source and removing dirt and debris you will make the area less habitable and reduce the chances of a large infestation occurring. We use professional cockroach control products to control infestations.

Many pest controllers struggle to completely clear cockroach infestations. Numbers may reduce but unless every last cockroach is eradicated numbers will quickly build up again. Don't take risks by using unqualified, inexperienced pest controllers call your local pest control experts.

Carpet Beetle Control

Cluster flies are found throughout the UK and their common name refers to their habit of forming clusters when "hibernating" - in often large numbers - in buildings. Whilst there is a specific species of common cluster fly (Pollen ia rudis), there are other species of cluster fly and swarming flies which have a similar hibernating nature and these may also be involved in forming mixed populations of flies inside suitable buildings.

Control is simple and in achieved by using a ULV (ultra low volume) insecticide application machine. The treatment takes around half and hour to complete.

Moth Control

It is difficult to stop moths entering your home in the first instance as they usually enter through an open window or door. Try not to keep material or clothes on top of wardrobes or in loft areas for long periods of time. If you do need to store, make sure items are secure either in suitcases, plastic bags or plastic sheeting.

Control usually is simple and is achieved by good housekeeping and by using residual insecticide sprays. Pheromone traps are also useful in monitoring infestations.
